Having opened it’s doors in late September, Violet is certainly more than just a sit-down restaurant—featuring French and American cuisine—it’s a café proudly brewing local Metropolis coffee in a full espresso bar, a venue for meetings and parties and a hub for good music and free wireless internet.  It is a haven for the eclectic or those seeking something slightly left of the norm. 

One look and you’re sure to notice the Pop Art wall murals, which were hand-painted by our two chefs and manager, but I bet you wouldn’t be able to guess they also reupholstered all the chairs and the banquet in the dining room as well.  Violet is definitely a labor of love—a feeling you can see spread through the menu and the kindhearted exceptional staff.

Thus far, our dining room has hosted a baby shower, business meetings, social clubs, a christening party, a coming home party… The possibilities are limitless: with seating for 80 and two wonderful chefs willing to work within your budget and tastes to create a personalized menu, performers for your childrens’ birthday parties—one visit to Violet and you know you will be well taken care of.
